High above downtown Breck, the Woodmoor neighborhood is located on Baldy Mountain not that far as the crow flies from Main Street, but most frequently reached by a sinewous route, a former railway, the road called Boreas Pass Road, and then it's own main street - Baldy Mountain Road. Some of the best views of the Tenmile Range are over here on the east side of the Blue River valley, up in Woodmoor. Hiking, skiing and biking trails start in the neighborhood and lead even higher onto Baldy Mountain, while the free bus, the Summit Stage, connects Woodmoor to town, as does the Barney Ford to Moonstone trail route.
